Welcome to the Hippocrates Circle!As a middle school student preparing for high school, the decisions you make now will begin to shape your future. You can take your interest in science, and your desire to help improve the lives and health of other people, and turn them toward an amazing and fulfilling career as a physician.

We at Kaiser Permanente know that reaching this goal will take hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. We want to help.

The Hippocrates Circle puts you in touch with physicians and medical students who can share ideas on how you can attain your goals. You’ll learn what doctors do in everyday practice, tour a hospital, visit a medical school, and learn a lot about how to succeed and achieve your dreams. You’ll learn ways to pay for a medical education.

Your school has been selected to participate in the Kaiser Permanente, Hippocrates Circle Program at __________________________________________• This is a free program for selected students and schools

• Students who are selected to participate will be expected to attend program field trips and student events.

• Parents/Guardians will also be invited to attend a program orientation, financial aid workshop, and graduation.

How to apply

• Go to www.kp.org/hippocratescircle to complete an online application.

• Be prepared to provide your,G.P.A., school information, and write a brief essay about why you want to become a doctor

• Your on-line application is due by: _______________________

• Your teacher or principal will inform you if you have been selected to participate in the program
