PIM Round Table Events• During ETIM presentations, data audits and the ETIM Standardisation Working Groups, we have often
been asked about Product Information Management (PIM) systems: • What are they?... What are their benefits?....How much do they cost,?...Which are the best ones
to go for?...Etc
• We believe that a PIM system:• is crucial for proper product data
management. • is not something to be feared. • should be simple to install, simple to
manage and not cost the earth!
• Series of round table introductions• The EDA has been working closely with a
PIM provider from the Netherlands called ProPlanet
