Three Concepts:


The Sender

The sender is the one who experiences issue and needs to talk to the other person


Difference between experiencing something and being clear what it is you’re experiencing

Difference between a “Talker” and a “Thinker”

The Receiver

The receiver is the person to whom the message is sent

It Is not about Me Be Curious Listen and Support Be Compassionate Be a Coach and

Mirror Back


The Wall The wall, in the communication map, is

one of four things:

1. Judgment2. Interpretation3. Defensiveness4. Reactive emotion.
