Specific Examples of SLL departmental roles:

• Work with teachers when they are planning lessons (for example, our challenge focus) to give a student’s perspective

• Maintenance of departmental website • Writing of newsletter articles • Working with staff to give ‘a students’ perspective’ on any

area of T&L they want to develop • Attendance at departmental meetings to represent student

voice (where appropriate) • Suggest new ideas to the on how the department could

develop • Work directly with other students (for example during

homework club) to help them in the subject
