Halakhic Realities The International Rabbinic Fellowship (IRF), an organization of nearly 250 Modern Orthodox
rabbis and educators, has recently published a second volume of essays in the "Halakhic Realities" series, exploring brain death and organ donation. To celebrate the publication, the IRF is selling "Halakhic Realities Volume I: Collected Essays on Brain Death" at a significant discount to members of congregations served by rabbis who are members of the IRF. The list price for this book is $29.95. ASBI has a limited quantity of Volume I books for sale for $10 per book.
This book contains essays by Rabbi Asher Lopatin, Rabbi Daniel Reifman, Rabbi Yosef Carmel, Dr. Kenneth Prager, Rabbi Maurice Lamm z'l, and Dr. Noam Stadlan, among many
others, and would be valuable to those interested in medical-ethics and medical-halakhah and the interaction between Jewish law and modern science.
