Grub on the Run
The Power of a Simple Gift
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD brings smiles to the faces of
hurting children in places like earthquake devastated Haiti
and war-scarred Sudan. Why not make a gift-filled shoe box
that then opens the door for the greatest gift — the gift of the
Savior, Jesus Christ? See the display in the East foyer.
KidZone
We welcome the kids today to Family Sunday.
If your children are restless, please feel free to take them to
the Nursery (ages 0-3) which is located in the
Children’s area in the south basement. There is also a
Nursing Mothers Room on the northeast side of the
Sanctuary in the foyer.
HOW CAN YOU HELP? SFN has the opportunity to
minister to upwards of 300 kids on Monday, October 31
from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. But to do so we need your help!
If you could run a game or decorate your car trunk, please sign up at
the Information Table in the East foyer. We also need lots of candy!
Place your candy in the collection tub in the West foyer. If you have
questions, please call the office at 823-6331.
Candy Cane Lane
FLOUR, SUGAR, CINNAMON . . . That’s right! It’s time to be
thinking about the 3rd Annual Cookie Exchange. This
year’s Cookie Exchange theme is Candy Cane Lane, and
well be held Monday, December 5, 6:00 p.m. You must
turn in your recipe to Debbie Fillipi by November 13. There can be
NO duplicate cookies, so get your recipe in today.
Maybe you would like to help out — come to a planning meeting on
Sunday, October 23 at 4:30 p.m. in the Conference Room.
Music For the Season
MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE! Beginning on Sunday, October 9, at
4:30 p.m. is the first practice for our Christmas musical. Be a
part of illuminating the pathway to Bethlehem’s
manger!
Missionaries to Cambodia
GOD IS DOING INCREDIBLE things in the Cambodia region.
Rolf & Debbie Kleinfeld, missionaries to Cambodia, will be
sharing the work that God is doing on Sunday morning,
