Settling in• Our aim is to settle your child happily into school life.
• Home visits
• We operate a staggered entry system. Your child’s first few days can be very unsettling especially in a new environment and we have found introducing the children gradually makes for an easier transition. In our experience, it is better to have the youngest children in first, as they can take longer to settle.
• Moving up afternoon will be held on Wednesday 2nd September .All children will come into school and spend 30 minutes with their new class teacher and class. .
• When children begin Reception they may feel upset or nervous, therefore we would encourage you to talk to your child about starting school.
• Transition booklet will help to prepare you child for September.
