BRUSH SET: Now before we get started…..One of the perks of being a hostess for a glamour party is you get to try out our brush set.

Moisturizer is like giving your skin a drink of water.

Even if you have oily skin, you need to moisturize.

This moisturizer hydrates your skin for up to 10 hours.

Foundation Primer: Now it is time to move into the glamour portion.

Now we are going to put on our fabulous Foundation Primer!

This product is incredible – it is a Hollywood secret that all makeup artists use.

It is an oil-free gel like formula that you apply all over your face before you apply foundation and it helps to absorb oil, enhance the look of the skin by reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and pores, and helps your foundation last longer throughout the day.

This is going to set the base for the rest of your makeup and protect your skin from the environment.

No matter what type of Foundation you like, we have one that you will love.

All of our foundations are fade resistant once they set and you can actually use 1/3 less of the Mary Kay foundations than any other brand – so a little bit goes a long way.

We are going to apply foundation to your entire face. It doesn’t matter where you start as long as the last stroke on your cheeks is down. We all have little hairs on our face. We don’t want those sticking up!

Eye Primer: This product is great for really making your eyeshadow last longer throughout the day.

It acts a lot like a glue to hold it into place and is also waterproof.

Just scoop a little up with your ring finger and dab it onto your eyelid.

The eye area is the most delicate area on the face to you want to make sure to use either your middle finger or your ring finger so that you do not apply too much pressure to the skin.

Concealer Concealer does just that. It hides everything that you don’t want to see on your face.

One great place to apply this is to your eyelids. Everyone has some discoloration on their eyelids and it creates a blank canvas for your eyeshadow.

We also have a concealer brush that will help you avoid tugging your skin and give you a very smooth application with your concealer

This is another Hollywood Secret – this lifts shadowy or dark areas off your face so your skin looks brighter and more rested.

After you have your foundation on, you can apply this. Brush anywhere you would like to brighten & bring out – under eyes, expression lines, etc.

There are light reflecting particles in this Facial Highlighting Pen that act like little mirrors to make your skin look flawless

Great for touch ups to freshen makeup. Definitely want to use this if having pictures taken. The will make you look more awake

Powder: Use this product to set your foundation and the concealer on your eyelids.

b. Highlight : The purpose of a highlight color is to draw an area out to the front. This will be the first color we use. It is the lightest color that we have given you.

i. Use the highlight color in the following places:1. Inside corner towards the nose and blend out to about midway out on the eyelid

2. Brow bone (right under the eyebrow in the arched area)c. Midtone : Your midtone will be the most boring color you own. It should be a matte color and be a fleshly

looking color. This will create definition on your crease.i. Apply to your crease starting from the outside and blending into the inside corner of your eye

ii. Also apply this to the outside corner crease.iii. It is important to keep a clean eye crease brush on hand for blending. Keeping it free of color will allow

you to blend without adding color.d. Contour: This is the darkest color of the 3. You will probably own the most variety of colors of this shade.

i. Apply to the outside corner starting at the base of the lash line and working it up into the brow bone.ii. Blend again and then apply more color is you need more depth.

2. Eyeliner a. NEVER just put eyeliner on bottom. It drags the eye down. If put on bottom, always put on topb. Start on top where natural lashes start, and go to end of eye – applying eyeliner CORNER TO CORNER in

c. Start color no closer than 2 fingers from your nose. Don’t want to accent your nose.d. You want to pull color up so your face has the illusion of looking lifted.

5. Lips: Lip Liner :a. You can use lip liner 2 different ways.

i. If you want a natural look, find a lip liner that matches the shade of your lips, draw your natural line, and then fill in. You can then top with lipstick and gloss or just gloss.

ii. If you want to match the color of the lipstick, fill in your natural lip line and then fill in your lips. Apply desired lip color

b. The purpose to filling in your lips and not just making a line is to help your lipstick last longer and go on more evenly.
