Rotary Quote of the Week

"As I leave for home, I am humbled by the people of Pakistan whowork so hard to end polio. I am in awe of the massive coordinationnecessary to organize the efforts of 225,000 people. And I am proudto belong to Rotary, for while it is clear that Rotary could no moreeradicate polio alone than we would build an elevator to the moon, this work would not be happening now if Rotary were not leadingthe way." - Devin Thorpe, member of the Rotary Club of Salt LakeCity, Utah, reporting on his visit to observe polio immunizationefforts in Pakistan (October Rotarian magazine)
