Youth News
Elevate!: Grades K-5, please join us today, at 11:00 am, in the Elevate Clubhouse as we begin HERO Headquarters. Hero stands for Heavenly Entity Reconnaissance Operations. We won’t make your child recite that however we will be rescuing people from living ordinary lives and helping them become the super hero God created them to be.
Discovery Club (2 1/2-5 Years), Cool Kids (K-1st Grade), Motion (2nd-4th Grade), & NRGs (5th & 6th Grade): No regular groups tonight, they will resume next Sunday! Join us tonight for the Puppet Show!
Puppet Show Family Night--TONIGHT!: Hands 4 God, a puppetry group from Glen Lyn Church of Christ, will be presenting a dynamic puppet show including music, comedy, and black light effects tonight, at6:00 pm in the auditorium. This event is for parents and children 6th grade and younger to enjoy together and admission is free!
Bodybuilders (7th-12th Grade): Tonight, 6:00-7:15 pm, in the Fellowship Hall.
Middle School: Your D-Groups meet this Wednesday, 6:30-8:00. Girls meet at Boo’s, guys meet at Brandon’s.
Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Graders: We’re having Y.A.C. next Sunday after Bodybuilders. Bring money for fast food, and we’ll be back at Belmont at 8:30.
Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Graders: Your Y.A.C is April 21, after Bodybuilders.
Summer in the Son Preview Night: All sixth, seventh, and eighth graders, come hear all about Summer in the Son on Sunday, April 28, 7:30-8:00, in the fellowship hall. SITS is July 7-12, at Kentucky Christian University. The $100 registration is due May 5. Check out the poster on the Youth Ministry bulletin board.
Go MAD!: Snack Attack- College Campus Edition next Wednesday, April 17th from 6:00-8:00 pm. We invite our 2nd-6th graders to meet us at church with an ingredient for snack mix (ex. raisins, M & Ms, pretzels). Please register your child by calling the church office or emailing Amanda at [email protected].

The Story SeriesOur teaching series “The Story” resumes today. We will pick up with Act 3, as the Israelites decide they need a leader other than God to
guide them and to protect them. Join us in this study as we see why our God must be the primary source of guidance and provision in our
lives and why it is imperative for us to make His Story – Our Story.
Belmont Online DirectoryWe are in the final stages of assembling all of the necessary
information for the release of our online church directory. Please go to our website, and on the home tab, fill in an online form to give us
permission to include you and your family in this directory.In the next week, you will receive an e-mail with directions on how to access the online directory. Your email address will be your username
and you will be instructed on how to set up your own password to use this ministry tool. Once you log on, you will be able to change
any of your personal information and even set privacy controls. This web portal will also be used for you to sign-up for events, check your
giving record, and much, much more. It is essential that we have your correct e-mail address in our database. At this time, pictures will not
be included, but they will be added at a later date.
Jaelynn’s Journey 5K Walk/RunRegister now to join us May 18, 2013 at Bissett Park for a 5k Run/Walk to benefit one of our families: Joey, Samantha & Jaelynn Belt! Jaelynn is 2 years old and will have a bone lengthening surgery on her tibia in December. This surgery will require a two-week hospital stay and a
three-month recovery period, in Baltimore, and 100% of the proceeds of this race will be applied toward those expenses. Registration forms are available in the foyer, in the Fellowship Hall, at the Youth Bulletin
Board, and on our website. Completed forms and registration fees may be placed in the box in the church office.
Upcoming 50+ Ministry TripThursday, April 25: Trip to Staunton. The van will leave church at
7:00 am. Please let Glenna Vaughan or Jim Vanhoozier know if you plan to go on this trip.
Care Packages for College StudentsFor the next three Sundays, we’re collecting snacks to send to our 32
college students on April 30. If you can contribute, there’s a collection box downstairs near the office.
