JOA Society of Scholars
ALL JOA SENIOR Scholars are to report to
Mrs. Kasunic, Room 208, Friday morning,
September 13 at 7:45 am
All students in Mrs. Streiff's Public Speaking class are to bringtheir textbooks to class.
The assignment is different from the one on
the Schedule.
• Today we will be having Eucharistic Adoration for the Juniors.
• All are welcome to come to the Chapel and pray any time throughout the day.

• Congratulations to the JV and varsity volleyball teams.
• They defeated Gateway last night. • The team has moved to 3-0 in section play.

• Special congratulations to Marielle Gleason and Ireland Mauler on winning their first high school head to head match
Field Hockey News
• Congratulations to the Field Hockey team! They defeated Upper St Clair with a score of 2 to 1 yesterday.
• Goal Scorers were Summer Connolly and Gracie Daigle.
• JV lost 0 to 1.
Freshman Mixer at Central
All Oakland Catholic freshmen are invited to attend the Central Catholic Mixer on Saturday,
September 14th from 7 – 10pm.There will be dancing, music, food and
refreshments.The cost is $5 and includes pizza and pop.
Remember to bring $5 and your student ID.

The 47th Annual Duquesne University College Fair will be held at the
A.J. Palumbo Centeron Sunday, October 13th from 1PM to 3PM
Over 150 colleges and universities will be in attendance. This is a great way to meet with representatives from a
variety of schoolsNo registration is required.
