Homeroom teachers, please have a student bring
any left over donations for the Teens for Jeans
drive to guidance now.
• Valentine's day is this Friday. Buy your friends a Candy Gram, write them a message, and have it delivered to them in their homeroom on Friday morning. Each gram is 50 cents and will be sold during all lunch periods!
• On Wednesday February 12th, the Global Awareness Club will be having a bake sale in the cafeteria.
• All proceeds go to Philippine Relief Fund.
Attention all members of Student Council, we will have a meeting on Wednesday February 12th
after school in the lecture hall. Don't forget to bring in
your chocolate and plan to stay until 3:30.
ATTENTION ESL STUDENTSThere will be no ESL Classes on Wednesday, February 12th. Please go to your regularly scheduled class or study hall.
• Save the date for Coffee House: an open mic event hosted by the Global Awareness Club on Friday, February 21st from 6pm to 8pm! Come for a cozy evening of poetry and songs with tea, coffee and desserts.
• See posters or contact Angela Gloninger for further information.
• French Club will have their "Movie Meeting" this Thursday, February 13, after school in the room 208!
• Come watch Ratatouille in French (subtitles will be present:).
• Watch your email for details!
• Any student athlete that wants to order a Letterman Jacket , Natalie Sporting Goods Co. will be in the Cafe during all lunch periods Thursday Feb. 13 and Friday Feb. 14 to take orders. Please stop and see them at lunch. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Bielich.
• The Anatomy Club will meet on Thursday, Feb 13th after school in the Lecture Hall.Our guest speaker will be cardiologist Dr. Marroquin.
There is a dress down this Friday, February 14.
Cost is $3 to benefit the prom.
OC/CC Chess Team
This year the OC Queens merged with the Central Vi-Kings
for our first victory over Peters Township HS.OC needed only one more match to win
but all 3 matches weretouch and go, but at 4 o'clock it was
necessary to switch to the clocksfor a 10 minute game time limit.
Sadly, rushed by the clock, Captain Emily Carney on Bd 3,
lost 2 pieces and her game. Score: OC/CC 2 PT 1

Happily, Abby Ceraso won the deciding match with a
strong 2 rook and queen
unstoppable attack for checkmate.

• Any senior doing her Interdisciplinary Research Paper Second Semester, check the lists posted outside of the library, on the second floor of the main building, or in room 207, to find out who will be mentoring your research. If you have any questions, see Mrs Streiff or Mr. D.
