To Our Valued Customers — In our continuing effort to improve competitiveness and optimize our execution, L-3 recently announced the consolidation of Telemetry-East with Telemetry-West. The combination of these two businesses will become L-3 Telemetry & RF Products (L-3 T&RF), maintaining facilities in Bristol, Pennsylvania, and San Diego, California.

Our strategy is to improve our competitiveness while continuing to provide cost-effective solutions to our customers.

As part of this change, please note the following:

1. Cage Codes will remain unchanged and separate for the Bristol, PA and San Diego, CA locations.

2. We anticipate a smooth transition with no impact to customers.

3. This is a doing business as (DBA) change, and no Legal Entity change will take place.

Thank you for your support and commitment as we transition over the coming months through this growth process. We are confident this strategy will allow us to continue to provide excellent products and services to our customers.

PCM400 MICRO-MINIATURE PROGRAMMABLE DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM

SAN DIEGO, CA – Our PCM400 is a fifth-generation micro-miniature programmable data acquisition system (DAS) suited for ultra-small weapons and UAS tactical and flight test applications.

In any test environment, reliability, size, ease of use and cost are major factors in selecting data acquisition equipment. The PCM400 DAS was architected to address the dynamic needs of modern test systems in an ultra-miniature form factor consisting of interface and power supply modules, while still supporting legacy interfaces to ease the transition as test environments are modernized.

The PCM400’s flight heritage is based on the highly successful L-3 T&RF DAS series PCM 330 & 600 models which have supported a variety of smart weapons, UAS and launch vehicle programs.

Driven by demands for increased functionality, performance and channel density, the PCM400 DAS encoder sets new standards for size, weight, high data rates, high fidelity and tight tolerances and an backed by an unmatched history of successful in-flight performance.

DMTS-4007 SINGLE- OR DUAL-CHANNEL MULTI-BAND INTEGRATED TELEMETRY RECEIVER

BRISTOL, PA – Our new DMTS-4007 is designed as a single- or dual-channel multi-band integrated telemetry receiver with tracking capabilities and integrated bit and frame synchronizers on a single PCI card.

Capable of accepting RF input signals with a high dynamic range (from 0 dBm down to noise floor), the DMTS-4007 will receive the RF signal, condition it, perform digital demodulation, synchronize the signal and process most telemetry formats.

The DMTS-4007 is user-friendly and the graphical user interface (GUI) allows easy installation, calibration, configuration and monitoring of the product.

DTSR — DIGITAL TOUCH SCREEN RECEIVER SINGLE- OR DUAL-CHANNEL 3U RACK-MOUNT TELEMETRY RECEIVER

BRISTOL, PA – Our new Digital Touch Screen Receiver (DTSR) is a 3U rack-mount single- or dual-channel telemetry receiver that operates in P, L, S, C-IF & C-RF Bands and features a 7-inch dual-touch screen color display.

The receiver boasts an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) for easy setup of functions. Ample mission storage for quick recall and fast set-up are also available. The receiver has bit-synchronizer and frame synchronizer capability. Its spacious rear panel allows for direct BNC input and output connections. Features include:

›  Demodulates FM, SOQPSK, PM, BPSK, QPSK & OQPSK

›  Data rates up to 30 Mbps in FM, SOQPSK

›  Built-in instrumentation, including eye diagram

›  IF spectrum and constellation

Bit sync and frame sync options are available via software license keys, which eliminates the need to return the equipment to the factory.

VISTA™ TELEMETRY PROCESSING SOFTWARE SAN DIEGO, CA – We are a major supplier of telemetry processing systems to the world’s flight and weapons test and training ranges. We also provide a wide variety of commercial and custom solutions to the aerospace community based on a diverse product offering and our ability to deliver integrated, fully tested solutions.

Typical applications for L-3 T&RF products range from small test labs to large turnkey ground stations for data processing and analysis.

Building on an existing telemetry infrastructure, including the System 550, Avalon and MFT-based products, as well as pure software solutions, our next-generation Vista™ telemetry system provides new features (outlined below), increased reliability and additional capacity.

Features available with the latest version of Vista™ include:

›  Improved performance of processing software decom data streams (tested in excess of 100 Mbps)

›  Improved performance of processing MFT data streams and reduced latency from the hardware through the system

›  Added a network interface and Chapter 10 UDP interface to Vista™ Software Decom

›  Added Chapter 10 PCM Data Recorder/Player, which provides record & playback of PCM/time data in IRIG 06 Chapter 10 format

›  Playback of the archived Chapter 10 data file can be directed to the network UDP or to the Vista™ software data bus

›  Added an MFT1000 feature to decode a PCM stream and create a Chapter 10 network stream, which can be used by a Chapter 10 recorder to create Chapter 10 archive files (can also be used in other software)

›  Added Stream Manager to allow project configurations to be dynamically generated for multi-stream missions utilizing predefined stream definitions
