THINGS TO KNOW

Kinders The KCLC Kinders Program is offered to children who will be entering Kindergarten in the 2012-2013 school year. Kinders enjoy the same activities, field trips and clubs as the 1st-5th grade, while spending a portion of their day as a smaller group for activities and rest time.

Grades 1-5 This program offers mixed age programming for kids who have com-pleted Kindergarten through 4th grade. Morning sessions are spent in smaller groups, and all other activities, field trips, and free choice is spent as a large group.

Grades 6-8 For students ages 11-13, the 6th-8th graders follow the same weekly themes as the other programs. This program offers more advanced explo-rations into the kinds of skills and leadership opportunities that students at this age are capable of. Part of the weekly curriculum for this groups includes designing an activity or performance that is shared with the younger campers. Additional information is available upon request.
