Kayhi’s School DayKayhi runs a 6 period day:
8:00-2:49 * Wednesdays 8:00-1:50
We also offer a Zero Hour at 7AM - This is for students who want to have room for extra electives or to double up on certain subjects.
There are 5 Minute passing periods between each class.
Kayhi students have a 30 minute lunch period, and it’s an open campus, which means students are allowed to leave at lunch time.
Kayhi students have full lockers, and they are randomly assigned, except for seniors, who are able to choose a locker in Senior Hall.
Advisory● Every student has an advisory class.● Advisory class is 30 minutes, every Wednesday.● Students have the same advisory teacher for four years.● Students explore interests, learn about careers, learn
skills for life, and plan for the future.● Helps students answer the following questions:
○ Who am I?○ What can I become?○ How do I get there?

count toward the science credits needed for graduation, and 1 credit would count as an elective credit.
22 credits are required for graduation.
Students may graduate with more than 22 credits.
