A celebration of Helen’s life will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Calvary Church, 707 E. Beltline NE Grand Rapids. Visitation will be held at the Zaagman funeral home 2800 Burton St SE, on Sunday afternoon from 3-5 and at the church on Monday from 10-11. Please keep in your prayers: *Muriel Smart’s daughter: Jane has recently returned home and continues her recovery. You can keep current on her sta- tus via her Caring Bridge account. *Tom & Nita Bos’ daughter: Mary Grile after 10 years her breast cancer has metastasized to her lung and spine. *Jane Clements: continues her regiment of chemo-treatments and is dealing with some of the side-effects that go with it. *Amber Lugten: will be consulting with her doctor as to what he recommends next for her. *Ken Meyer: will be having his stem cells harvested on Oct. 16. Then he will be receiving a Chemo treatment on Nov. 6. Then his stem cells will be re-implanted on Nov. 7 *Tippy Overbeek: fell and fractured some vertebrae in her neck and fractured her sternum. She is recuperating for now at the Providence Nursing Home (now called SKLD) in Zeeland on State Street. She may be facing some surgery on her neck in the future. Hand2Hand We have 40 Elementary students (we may get a few

more) enrolled in our backpack program at this time that are receiv-

ing food for the weekend. Please keep your donations and prayer

for this program coming as they are much needed and appreciated.
