Seven Realities of Experiencing God

The seven realities included below will help you summarize the way you can respond to God’s ini-

tiative in your life.

1. God is always at work around you.

2. God pursues a continuing love relationship with you that is real and personal.

3. God invites you to become involved with Him in His work.

4. God speaks by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, andthe church to reveal Himself, His purposes, and His ways.

5. God’s invitation for you to work with Him always leads you to a crisis of beliefthat requires faith and action.

6. You must make major adjustments in your life to join God in what He is doing.

7. You come to know God by experience as you obey Him and He accomplishesHis work through you.

As you view each video presentation, do each accompanying lesson, and complete each devotion, you

will be learning and applying these 7 realities to your life. We encourage you to start now on the process

of memorizing the simple Realities Illustration and the exact wording of each reality to describe these key

realities of experiencing God.

Review the illustration and realities until you can draw the illustration and share the realities with others.

Then in each of our seven sessions together we will explore one of the realities more deeply. We encour-

age you to complete the learning exercises. They will help you to remember and apply the biblical truths

you study.

May God work in your life in a greater way than you have ever experienced as we consider these foun-

dational principles.
