• High incidence of diabetes and hypertension
• Higher incidence of inherited kidney diseases (ADPKD, Medullary Cystic Kidney Disease, TBMN, CFHR5)
• “Dialysis for All” policy: everyone is provided the option for dialysis (30% of pts that started dialysis in 2017 were 75+yo, the older being 99y.o.)
