Due tomorrow: Write using full sentences how you get to your house from the school. 10 points One page
It is important to use full sentences and explain the route to me like I am an alien.
In this class you will be practicing how to write about art. This is just as important as making art.

DAY 2: ELEMENTS CLASSWORK Go Over Elements of art.
Students will get a book from the book shelf.
In groups of three they will be asked to pick out a picture that best fits each element. Groups will be asked to share what they have found and why they thought it matched the element.
Students will then complete a worksheet on the elements.

Now that you know how colors make you feel and you have seen how graffiti can be used to communicate with the public. Make your own tag that can be used to communicate with your school.

HOMEWORK
In you sketchbook answer the following questions and draw a sketch of your idea in pencil.
MONDAY-FRIDAY WEEK 2 AUGUST 10-14 Students will have a week to make a large scale tag based off the sketch they did for homework.
Demonstrate different ways to use oil pastels.
Final tag will be due Monday of week 3 in the beginning of class.
Students will grade themselves using a rubric
We will also take the time to take about every ones art.
