Music life in Chuvashiya

The author of the project is Ivanova Galina,an 11th form pupil.

My name is Galya.I have been studying English for 7years. I love English, it is my favourite subject. At this lesson we can discuss different problems. At this moment we are speaking about music. Young people love music. I can sing some English songs. For ex.”Clementine”,

ABBA “Happy New Year”, Dido”Thank you”,Enrique Iglesias”Hero”and others. We learnt them at our English optional course.

The aim is to prove how rich music art in Chuvashiya is.

Young and old are fond of music. Chuvashiya is called the land of hundred thousand songs. .

Folklore ensembles are very popular in Chuvashia.

And in our school.

Chuvashiya is called a land of one hundred thousand songs.Please come to us to become convinced of this for yourselves!And we’ll be glad to show our beautiful land and inexhaustible talents of the multinational people of Chuvashiya to you!

A theatre of opera and ballet is situated in Cheboxary. Different concerts, operas and ballets are on here all year round.

Anniversary of our republic and Cheboxary is usually celebrated with a great show. There are concerts of the best creative groups and folklore ensembles, people’s outdoor parties with songs and dances in parks and directly in streets .

` Production of “Narspi” opera of Grigori Khirbu, a

composer, put as per the poem of the same name written by Konstantin Ivanov, a classic of Chuvash Literature, has become remarcable in scenic art.

The academic ensemble of song and dance (with Yuri Vasilyev as its artistic supervisor) grew and got recognition thanks to careful attitude to the unique choreographic and musical heritage of the Chuvash people.

The “Yalan”(Always) ensemble, with Vitaly Gordeev as an art leader, is one of the youngest creative groups. It tries to enrich the repertoire with modern rhythms and melodies. Chuvash composers readily collaborate with this group.

Chuvash national melodies, performed by the Erevet” children ensemble of folk instruments, conducted by Sergey Fedotov, gain unusual freshness and cleanlines.

This is our village ensemble of folk songs. They perform Chuvash and Russian folk songs in “Akatui”

This is a n ensemble of juniorforms of our school.They get prizes in regional inspections annually.

A children’s ensemble is conducted by our music teacher Natalia Serafimovna. She is kind and beautiful. She is the best.
