The Tevie Bar and the Tevie Tea Bar will be open throughout both home fixtures this weekend. On Sunday, Teversal FC Ladies played their first pre-season fixture against Hasland Ladies. It was the first time that many of the girls had took to the field together, and unfortunately the were on the wrong end of a 4-1 scoreline. Some good football was played and they continue their build up this coming Sunday with a tournament in Leicester and a home game against Mansfield Town Ladies on the 26th. -= MATCH REPORT =- TEVERSAL FC 1-0 WOLLATON FC

Free kick gives the Tevie Boys their first victory in their pre-season campaign.

Just forty seven people turned out at Carnarvon Street for the visit of Wollaton FC in Teversal's third pre-season fixture, the visitors from Nottingham were looking to start their pre-season with a win having completed the Precision Notts Senior League double at the end of last season. The game kicked off in glorious sunshine and both teams tested each other from the start, but both keepers stood tall and kept the score at 0-0 - until the 34th minute. Teversal were awarded a free kick around twenty-five yards out, the gaffer screamed from the bench for Jake Tittley to go forward and take the kick. He did and he stroked the ball around the edge of the wall and low into the corner past the diving

Wollaton keeper. At the half time whistle, Teversal retired to the changing rooms, whilst the Wollaton contingent stayed out on the pitch for their half time team talk. There were a lot of niggly tackles and dodgy-looking offside decisions with both benches screaming for justice, and with every decision by the three officials being completely wrong in someone's eyes. A definite plus for the Tevie Boys was
