Do our religious beliefs have flesh and bones? Do our Christian beliefs impact our life choices? We may find that the way we live and our perspective on the world actually has abso-lutely no Christian prejudice. We believe what we believe due to our demographic catego-

ry. Whether we went to school or not, what we make per year in salary, how old we are, and what part of country we are raised determines our lifestyle, our values, and what choices we make. Marketers know this. What category do you fit into? We may think that we choose our value system. In real-ity, we are rather homogeneous creatures, greatly influenced by our environment. We are all identical individuals. We on-ly find out who we truly are by finding out how God made us. Sin and rebellion from God is mundane and boring. Finding our true selves in God through Christ is exhilarating. The dis-ciples found themselves in the community and found Jesus in the breaking of the bread. Our soul withers when we separate ourselves and thrives when we unite ourselves to God and oth-ers. Fr. Sam

If you would like to take the Vocations Crucifix home for a week and pray for Vocations with your family, just come to the sacristy

We appreciate that many of our parish members pray the rosary daily. We need everyone’s prayers for vocations to the priest-hood and religious life. We ask that you keep this intention in

your daily rosary. If you are not praying the rosary regularly, please consider the

value of this powerful prayer. There are free ’How to Pray the Rosary’ pamphlets at the Infor-

mation Center in the Gathering Space and in the brochure racks.
