7A—Mrs. Nix
Originally from Chattanooga, TN (Signal Mountain) Moved to Dalton, GA and graduated from high school
there at Northwest Whitfield High Inspired by my mother who is also a 7th grade teacher
(teaches AC Science at Vickery Creek Middle in Forsyth) Attended the University of Georgia for undergraduate
school (BSEd.1999), completed my gifted certification there, and began grad. school there
graduated from Kennesaw State University (MEd. 2006) 16th year teaching social studies (13 years at HTMS, 3
years in Athens)

Students will compete against their classmates along with other students across the state of Georgia.
