Jackie’s VISTA Assignment Whatcom Community College’s VISTA project, called Youth
Connections, aims to increase the number of disengaged, low-income youth that have access to college. In the first year of the project, the VISTA Youth Connections
Coordinator will develop a community assessment plan, develop curriculum, and cultivate partnerships with community partners in order to increase college access for out-of-school youth, homeless youth, and incarcerated youth.
