Mrs. Coleman’s ELA ClassThis year is my seventeenth year teaching at Clearview. I

am also a former student of the district as well as a graduate of Rutgers University and Holy Family College. In addition, I am the 7th grade Cross Country Coach.

ELA…What is it? Based on the Common Core Standards for Reading and

WritingTwo 45-minute periods – One for reading, and one for

writing.Focused and provides many opportunities for student

choice.Designed to build and improve upon the reading and

writing skills that students already possess.Differentiated instruction for students with different

levels of knowledge or need.
