CELEBRATION OF RECONCILIATION

Call to Confession: My Song Is Love Unknown .................. Lift Up Your Hearts #148:1,3

Like the people who greeted Jesus as he entered Jerusalem and then later pronounced "Crucify

him," we are fickle people who often deny Christ in our thoughts, words, and deeds.

Remembering the events of Jesus' last week helps us see ourselves for what we are: sinners in

need of a Savior, a Savior - praise God - we have in Christ.

In honesty and hope, using these words "Lord, have mercy," we confess our sins to God.

Prayer of Confession: Kyrie Eleison/Lord Have Mercy ..... Lift Up Your Hearts #637 (2x)

Assurance of Pardon: My Song Is Love Unknown ................. Lift Up Your Hearts #148:6

Let those who fear the Lord say,

"His steadfast love endures forever."

Out of my distress I called on the Lord;

the Lord answered me and set me free.

The Lord is my strength and my song;

he has become my salvation.

I shall not die, but I shall live,

and recount the deeds of the Lord.

-based on Psalm 118:4-5, 14, 17

Children ages 3 years old through 1st grade

are invited to follow the banner to the Worship Center downstairs.

GOD SPEAKS TO US

Song of Preparation: Then Will the Very Rocks Cry Out ....................... arr. Mark Hayes

If we keep our voices silent, all creation will rise and shout. If we fail to praise You, Father, then will the very rocks cry out. From the corners of creation come the people of the Living God.

Ev’ry tongue and every nation gather now to praise the Lord!

From a world of tribulation come and let your voice be raised. Join us now in congregation. Let the Living God be praised.

Alleluia, alleluia, unto Him we offer praise.

Alleluia, alleluia, this song of joy to Him we raise. Alleluia, alleluia, in the heavens angels sing.

Alleluia, alleluia, give glory to the most high King!

Thank you so much for the support and gifts that our ministry Back to God Ministries International, receives from your church. Know that we continue to share the Gospel around the world. We still use radio, television and printed materi-als like the TODAY devotional – but we are reaching people with all kinds of new me-dia too – internet, blogs and smartphone apps. Not only do we share the Good News of Jesus Christ, we are also committed to discipling people and strengthening the Church. We so appreciate your partnership. We ask that you pray for our ministry and staff, and pray that the Holy Spirit will work in the hearts of people who hear the message of salvation. Thanks again for your support .
