The National Wine Centre will again be the place for this new approach to one of the best functions in the 2017 calendar, still recognised as one of the

most popular events by other clubs in the SANFL.

OOur 2017 season has provided some very mixed results so far, as the coaching group strive to improve our on eld performances and re-establish the consistency that will deliver the successes we all want. The Gala Long Lunch and Auction has come about due to the unavailability of a venue that coincided with a bye and thus the club had to come up with something different. Feedback from supporters were also looking for a more casual appapproach and so it is that we have this opportunity to do just that. A time where the players, coaches and staff reeect on the results and prepare for the challenges ahead and we get the

chance to do that together with you, as we relax and be part of the Roosters biggest fundraiser and most important social

gathering. Our Gala functions has continued to provide a great source of funds to the Club, enabling us to maintain the levels of development and education for our juniors and keeping up to date on facilities and technology. This function always brings out that Rooster passion and enthusiasm in all of us, whether it

be bidding for that overseas holiday package in the MMajor Auction, quietly placing bids in the Silent Auction or just getting around your friends, family, or players at this fabulous

function centre!

The following rules and conditions have been established to protect the Club against unforseen and unreasonable costs that could affect the positive work achieved during this fundraising event, therefore please ensure you understand your beneets and responsibilities clearly before making a bid.

TThe auctioneer is in charge of all bidding and has enal authority in the event of a dispute. All items are purchased at the risk and expense of the purchaser at the fall of the hammer.

Conditions of items are clearly stated in the catalogue and once the hammer falls, no refunds, exchanges, additions or alterations can be made unless speciecally stated in the description.

North Adelaide Football Club and the auction committee give no wwarranty on any item offered in the auction.

Payment by the successful bidder is to be made immediately following the auction at the cashier by cash, cheque or credit card.

Please feel free to bid for Silent Auction items from the moment you arrive and as often as you like thereafter until the close of the Silent Auction.

Silent Auction bids must increase by a minimum of $5 per bid.

TThe highest bid for each and any item shall be the successful bid. By making a bid, you acknowledge and accept you will be bound to honour the offer made by you, if you are the highest bidder at the time of closing.

Any bids made after the closing of the Silent Auction has been announced will not be recognised.

SuSuccessful Silent Auction bidders will be advised following the closure of the Silent Auction.

Unless otherwise specieed, any service purchased during the auction must be used within 12 months (ie by 4 June 2018). Failure to do so will result in these items expiring, without any refund available to you.

All goods shall be removed at the conclusion of the auction. Collection of goods may be made only after the completion of the auauction by the presentation of a processed payment sheet.

Should you be unable to take items home with you, delivery can be arranged at the expense of the purchaser. Delivery must be arranged within two weeks of the auction.

Note: Without exception, items not collected within (1) one month of the Auction will become the property of the North Adelaide Football Club so please ensure you arrange collection or delivery of your items immediimmediately after the event.

‘‘’In 1997 I spent time travelling through Morocco. I was over-whelmed by the massive changes of light and colour on the sand dunes, mountains, waterways and salt plains and the spectacular sunsets that would turn these landscapes red. After returning to Australia and visiting South Australia’s Coorong National Park during summer, I again witnessed a very intense red sunset reminding me of my travels and experiences in Morocco. It was then I decided to paipaint a series of works called ‘Red Ephemeral’. This Limited Edition Giclee print has been reproduced from one of my paintings in that series.’’
