Welcome letter from your Sabbaticals

Welcome to Your Students’ Union! Firstly, we would like to welcome you to York St John University. I hope we can provide you with everything you could possibly need to be a student (or at least point you in the right direction!). The Students’ Union offers you the chance to get involved with student life on a local, regional and national level – whether that means playing sport, volunteering in the local community, taking up a new hobby or campaigning on issues that affect students. We want you to get involved with all of our activities to make sure you get the most out of your time at University. Check out our “Friends with Benefits” booklet that is included in this pack for more information. In this pack, you’ll also find our “What’s On” Guide – your passport to fun and exciting events that are happening throughout the first term. We hope you’ll find that there’s something for everyone but if there is anything you think we’ve missed just give us a shout. Whatever goes into making you the student you are, YOUR Students’ Union has got something for YOU! We look forward to seeing you when you arrive on campus. If you’ve got any questions, just come and find us. Our Welcome Team will be on campus and at the halls all through Welcome Week (they’ll be the ones in pink t- shirts)! We hope you enjoy your time at York St John. Much love,
