What is Go SOLAR?• U.S. Department of Energy Grant• Main purpose is to increase market conditions
for solar installations

Avenues of Outreach:•Work collaboratively with partners to use the marketing materials we develop to reach target audiences.
Examples of how partners will do their part:•Include information and articles into their e-newsletters•Email blasts•Hang posters in each partner city•Provide an email list of HOA’s registered with each city•Access to City Commissioners email lists•Go SOLAR Outreach will coordinate venue with each partner city or group of partner cities to establish the educational event/workshop location(s).

Educational Events•Cities to help to determine location and dates of Go Solar events•Cities will be encouraged to work with other partner cities to plan events•The Go Solar Team will provide marketing materials and training to all PIO’s•The events will take place September thru November
Final Workshop and Panel DiscussionProposed Phase I Finale Name: SolarFestDate: February 7, 2013Purpose: To highlight the Go SOLAR Program accomplishmentsInvitees: DOE, Building Inspectors, Gov’t Officials, Solar Installers, Public, reach out to regional officials, etc.Anticipated Number of Attendees: 250 - 300Location: Broward County Commission Chambers – with vendor displays in select locations.
