to come and learn, share your knowledge, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes Iowa’s asphalt industry unique.

MODERATOR: OBJECTIVES: This class will build upon last year’s ASPHALT 101 class without losing those who may have not been able to
attend in 2016. Asphalt 202 will focus on identifying and rehabilitating pavement distresses with a focus on finding a balance between economic and structural needs. In addition, utilization of pavement design tools, pavement management programs and life-cycle cost analysis will be discussed. The final segment will examine trouble-shooting issues at the plant and on-the-grade with an emphasis on collaborative problem-solving. Class is designed for IDOT, City, County, and Consulting Engineers and Technicians. Contractors will find opportunities to learn here..
