Initiative Team Development
• Identified Initiative Team Leaders.
• Pam Sigler, Curriculum Specialist, provides process and structural support for all teams.
• Team Leaders identified potential members of their teams.
• Overarching goals for each initiative identified.
Making Beneficial Lifestyle Choices
Goals:1. Improve the health of individuals in
the Commonwealth of Kentucky through education regarding nutrition, physical activity, chronic disease, and healthy weight.
2. Provide skills necessary for individuals to solve problems related to nutrition, physical activity, chronic disease, and healthy weight and to empower individuals to take initiative and action and reflect on their actions.

families, communities, and state groups to collectively address problems related to obesity, physical inactivity, and poor nutrition choices.
