Programme:
6 pm onwards Judges comments and scores
Introduction from the President of St Ives Photographic Club
In these unprecedented times I am delighted to welcome you to Interprint 2021. This is the 39th annual competition and it has rightly gained a reputation for high standards in the East Anglian Region. Interprint has inspired and stimulated many of us through the years, encouraging us to reach to new heights of excellence in our photography. I am confident that this year will be no exception.
This year for the first time we have adapted our competition due to the epidemic to be a digital online competition with 20 clubs each entering 6 images. We express our gratitude to you for your continued participation and especially this year with a change of format.
Once more we express our thanks to the team who have worked hard to organise and stage this event – Alice Kendrick, Karen Laws, Chris Coakley, Tim Norman, Debbie Hall, Nicky Cope, Louisa Christie, Brian Sibley and Dave Norman in particular.
We are pleased to welcome our judge for this year Bob Webzell ARPS EFIAP. You can read more about Bob elsewhere in the programme.
The support of our sponsors is vital to enable us to continue our programme of competitions, exhibitions, talks and other events. We thank them sincerely for their loyalty and generosity. When you respond to one of their adverts, as we hope you will, please encourage them by mentioning that you saw it in our Interprint 2021 programme.
I do hope that you will enjoy the judging and may the best images win the day for their photographers and club!

Photography at St Ives Photographic Club
The St Ives Photographic Club is an active and friendly club with indoor meetings held at the St Ives Free Church on Tuesday evenings, meeting at 7:30pm for an 8pm start, from September to April together with an active summer programme of outdoor events.
This year due to Covid like many clubs we have moved to online meetings but this has had the benefit of being able to have speakers from further afield.
All competitions this year have had to be DPI due to not being able to meet face to face. Our members have supported all our competitions with a good number of entries with a diverse range of subjects. Our President’s Challenge Trophy attracted a very high number of excellent images for the theme of ‘Water’ with a huge range of well observed and confidently taken subjects.
The busy winter programme is normally followed by a summer one with weekly walks, history talks and other practical outdoor activities. We will have to see what restrictions are in place this summer to see what activities we can schedule.
This year we had an online annual exhibition with a video of images from members on the subject of a day in lockdown. This was viewed by over 600 people and it received some great feedback.
When we can meet face to face, guests will always be welcome at any of our meetings at the very reasonable rate of £3 including refreshments or why not come along to one of our summer walks which are free. To see what exciting events are coming up, have a look at the St Ives Photographic Club website
