My goal is to exceed your expectations and become your dentist for life.” - Dr. Johnson When not at the office... Dr. Johnson enjoys being active in the community. He loves working with kids, be it as a youth advisor at church, educating local kindergarten students about oral hygiene, or coaching little league baseball. Mark and Mary have four children: Chad (8), Alli (6), Taylor (3), and Nick (1). Mark Johnson grew up in Manti, Utah but is no stranger to the Gila Valley. While attending Snow College, he met and married Willcox native, Mary Bushman, and the couple moved to Thatcher in 2013 after graduating from dental school. Prior to college, Mark spent two years on a church mission in Brazil, where he developed a love for carne asada, volleyball, and açaí. Upon returning home, he began his educational pursuits at local Snow College, spending his afternoons volunteering as an assistant coach for the high school baseball team. Mark and Mary met and got married before transferring to Utah Valley University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in biology. The Johnsons then moved their family to Omaha, Nebraska where Mark attended the Creighton University School of Dentistry. Dr. Johnson excelled during his dental school studies again graduating Magna Cum Laude while receiving his DDS degree. Upon graduating dental school, Mark got his start in Safford before relocating to Queen Creek, where he’s been for the last two years. He and his family are thrilled at the opportunity to return again to the Gila Valley and this time put down roots. z We’re growing! z As you may have noticed, we’ve expanded our office in order to better serve our patients! This addition includes four new operatories and a new dentist to help us address all of our patient’s needs in a timely manner. We’re very excited to have Dr. Johnson joining the team! MEET DR.
