Your acceptance is based on the understanding that you will maintain an academic and personal record comparable to your previous record for the remainder of your senior year. You must have your final grades and notice of graduation sent to us by July 15. Without final grades you will be unable to enroll for courses.

COSTS 2021–22

The comprehensive fees for 2021-22 are $70,225 (includes tuition, fees, room and board). In July, bills for the first semester will be sent electronically by the Business Office. Information about payment plan options will be provided at that time.

PRE-COLLEGE CREDIT

The Registrar’s web pages under Academic Regulations contain information about college credit for work you have done with the AP or IB programs or through dual enrollment. For AP and IB, examination score reports sent from the national offices to the Registrar are required. Dual enrollment requires several items of documentation; read the web information carefully. If you take a college course the summer after completing high school, the college or university must send your transcript to the Registrar’s Office at Davidson.

DEFERRAL REQUESTS

An admitted first-year student may, with permission, defer enrollment for one year. The student must confirm his or her intent to enroll at Davidson, submit the required $1,000 enrollment deposit, and a written request for deferral by May 1. The request must detail the student’s plans for the interim year, inclusive of programs, locations and dates. If the deferral request is approved, the student must return a signed deferral contract with an additional non-refundable deposit of $1,500 within one week of the notice of approval.

WILDCAT HANDBOOK

The Wildcat Handbook, which is prepared during the summer, includes photos of all entering students. Please send a head-and-shoulders picture to be included in the Wildcat Handbook. Photographs should be received by May 15 and should be emailed to [email protected]. Photos must be a JPG image in color, 2” x 3” and at least 300 dpi. Photos with hats or sunglasses cannot be used.
