Attendance• Arriving Late:

o Check in at the Attendance Office before going to class.o If you are 30 minutes or more late to class, you are

considered truant!

• Unexcused absences:o 6 unexcused absences = may lead to loss of credit.o You have 3 days to clear up your absences.

• Excused absences:o To excuse an absence, your parent/guardian must call the

Attendance Office, send a note to school, or fill out a J-31 card.

• Please refer to the salmon-colored card for additional information on attendance.

Behavior Code

• Fighting on campus will result in a 3-5 day suspension from ECVHS.

• Electronic Deviceso All cell phones and MP3 players are to be put away

during the school day, except for break and lunch. o ECV staff reserves the right to confiscate your electronic

devices. o Please do not ride your bikes on campus!!!!

Dress Code• No saggy pants!• No slippers or pajamas!• Please don’t show your undergarments!• No headgear allowed!• Remember that when you are getting

dressed that you are on your way to school!

Academic Honesty

• Please remember that doing your own work is the best way to ensure that you receive a quality education!

• There are consequences for students who are found copying the work of others; your teachers may not consider this “collaboration.”

School Pride

• Please help to keep our campus clean!

• Always give your best effort on standardized tests(CST/CAHSEE).

• Be proud of the work that you submit in all of your classes!

• Get involved – join a club or two!• Support ECVHS Athletics!
