Student Eating Habits We have a responsibility to help our students learn about the importance of a

healthy lifestyle. The Leadership Team agreed on the following guidelines: Teachers will not use food as a reward for student performance or behavior

in the classroom We will only provide food in the classroom for students for special events or

holiday celebrations Primary age students (PK-2) will not be able to change a food choice that

was made by a parent Sweets will not be allowed to be purchased by students in the cafeteria

during the school day Students will not be allowed to go to the cafeteria to purchase items for

snack time in the classroom French Fries may only be eaten if they are part of the meal served for the

day Pretzels are not considered a full lunch, but may be purchased with a lunch
