Since 1935 the Okoboji Bible Conference has been growing Christians from many churches to live out the transforming power of Christ’s love. The 80th Conference begins on August 2 in Arnolds Park, Iowa. Nightly sessions are at 7:15 pm at 69 West Broadway, across from the Okoboji Middle School. Teaching and care for infants and children is provided. Musical guests including Jason Gray and the Annie Moses Band will prepare hearts to receive the Word from John Stumbo, Skye Jethani, Chuck Van Engen and others. All are welcome. There is no charge. The Visitation for Tom Wood will be held today in the Worship Center from 3:00-7:00pm. The Funeral will be tomorrow in the Worship Center at 11:00pm. Greg Lunn will be officiating. Lunch will follow in the Chapel. Due to the Funeral the FCWM Coffee has been re-scheduled to Monday, August 11th at 9:30am in the Chapel.

Today, Sunday, August 3rd, Pastor David Sletten and his wife, Cheryl, are here to candidate for the position of Interim Pastor. Please pray for our church during this time of transition.

C O N G R E G A T I O N A L MTG—The Overseers have appointed Nate Hodgins to serve out a vacant Overseer seat. They ask for your confirming vote on Sunday, August 3rd at 7:30pm in the Chapel. We will also be voting for Pastor David Sletten to be our interim pastor. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting, but only members may vote.
