We are thankful God led you to worship with us at

North Etowah today! Jesus leads us to be a family

that extends His grace, mercy, and forgiveness to

everyone. If you do not have a church home, we

would love for you to be a member of our church

would love to speak with you more!

Children are welcome

Relax! God put the wiggle in children; don’t feel

you have to suppress those wiggles in God’s house.

• Consider sitting toward the front where it is

easier for your little ones to engage.

• Quietly explain the parts of the service and

actions of the pastor, musicians, and leaders.

• Sing the hymns and pray. Children learn

behavior by mimicking you.

• If you have to leave the Worship Center with

your child, feel free to do so, but please come

back. As Jesus said, “Let the children come to

me.”

FELLOWSHIP MEAL Everyone is invited to our first post-COVID fellowship meal

tonight following the evening service. We will be eating VBS

leftovers so there is no need to bring anything.

INDEPENDENCE DAY We will not have our evening worship service on Sunday, July 4.

Also, the church office will be closed Monday, July 5.

SPECIAL FRIENDS SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS Our Sunday School Class for adults with special needs

has restarted and would love to have new members!

Please ask anyone you invite to this class to enter at

the Nursery Carport Entrance.

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP (GRADES 1-3)

All children (Grades 1-3) are invited to attend

Children’s Worship. Please meet at the doors on the

piano side following the choir special. Following the

service, the children will be brought back to the

Worship Center.

NURSERY/PRESCHOOL DEPARTMENT We are in the process of reopening our Nursery/Preschool

Department for children Birth - Pre-K during Sunday School

and our worship services. We are in need of two paid

nursery workers as well as several volunteers. If you are

interested in a paid position, applications and job

descriptions are available in the church office. To volunteer,

please contact Shelia Yoder or the church office. Paid

workers and volunteers must submit to a background

check.

ECMA BACKPACK GIVEAWAY

This year’s ECMA Backpack Giveaway will be on

Saturday, July 31, 10:00am, at the L&N Depot. The

church will be purchasing packs of notebook paper (in

order to take advantage of tax exemption). If you

would like to donate to help offset the cost, please

write “backpacks” or “notebook paper” on your

offering envelope or check.

FALL JUBILEE

The O.W.L.S. (Older, Wiser, Loving Seniors) are looking

forward to this year’s Fall Jubilee, September 27-29.

The cost for the conference and lodging is $137 per

person. A sign-up sheet is located in the Worship

Center Vestibule.

FOOD PANTRY NEEDS

The Community Food Pantry is in need of quick and

easy foods that kids can prepare for themselves. Some

suggested items are peanut butter, jelly, shelf-stable

items, and microwaveable items.

SUNDAY SCHOOL QUARTERLIES

If anyone (student or teacher) would like to receive

their LifeWay Sunday School quarterlies electronically

rather than in print, please contact the church office.

Digital copies may be viewed on phones, tablets, and

computers.

REVELATION AND DANIEL

We are pleased to announce that Rev. Ansell Baker's

series on Revelation is now available on our website!

Rev. Baker preached this series while Interim Pastor in

1989-1990. Rev. Baker also served as Interim Pastor in

2000 during which time he preached a series on

Daniel. This series is currently being converted from

cassette to digital and will be posted when complete.

SYMPATHY Sympathy to Estalene Deakin and family at the recent

passing of her aunt Aileen Charles.
