Purpose of Pilot
To inform the guidance for implementing the portfolio process
Overview• Comprehensive
• Measure student growth
• 3-6 Samples (individuals and groups)
• Reflect programs and courses taught
• Blind, holistic review done online by 2 colleagues with content area expertise
SGP: Full Scale vs. Pilot
• Initiation form with principal’s signature
• 3-6 samples with 2 evidences per sample
• System ID used to match for review

• Pilot ID from NCDPI used to match for review
