January 13-16 Orientation Presentations by Guidance

What happens after January 27th?
1. Your FACTs teacher has been assigned a date for registration in Jan. or Feb.
2. On the assigned date your FACTs teacher will meet your class at the Guidance office
3. Your assigned counselor will meet with you one on one that day. Your counselor will make sure you have the classes needed for graduation and will review your credits.

This two semester course covers sole proprietorship accounting principles involved in the preparation and maintenance of financial records concerned with business management and operations. It is a comprehensive introduction to basic accounting including recording, summarizing and reporting, principles of income measurement and asset valuation, and accounting systems and controls. Students are exposed to careers in the accounting field and are given the opportunity to perform accounting applications using the computer. An introduction to partnerships and corporations may be included.

There are three block periods at the Career Center
You attend the Career Center course A and B days
You earn TWO credits per semester for Career Center Courses
Career Center Schedule…
A Block = At 7:05 bus leaves Burke – 9:20 B Block = At 9:10 bus leaves Burke -
11:20 C Block = At 12:45 bus leaves Burke-2:45
If you take a Career Center Course you will be able to take 5 or 6 other classes at Burke. This means you can earn 14-16 credits for the year.
