1. A Nursery place at Khalsa Primary School does not guarantee a place for Reception the following year. • Parents need to apply for Primary school following

the Reception Admissions procedures

You will need to complete your local authority form.

Forms should be posted or submitted online to the local authority.

You must follow the guidance provided by your local authority.

You must also complete Khalsa Primary School’s Supplementary Information Form (SIF), If you decide to apply for a place at Khalsa Primary School.

The Supplementary Information Form (SIF), must be returned to the school with supporting documents (DOB certificate & 2 proofs of address – council tax, tenancy agreement, child tax benefit, inland revenue etc.)

Collect all the forms from the residents of the London Borough of Ealing.

Exchange information with other local authorities (e.g. Hounslow, Hillingdon etc.)

Forward details of those who have indicated their preference for a place at Khalsa Primary School.

Calculate the distance from the school to the main family home.

Check if the child for whom a place is being sought has a brother or sister at Khalsa Primary School

They check the information they have received from:

The local authority, name of the child applying are in public care whether they have siblings already in the school the distance from their home to the school

Make sure you keep to all the deadlines mentioned
