Our team is led by Everett Weinberger, who has over 25 years of experience in financial markets and holds the highest industry credentials: Stanford M.B.A., Certified finanCial PlannerTM and Certified Investment Management Analyst®. Everett is also a Senior Portfolio Manager, a designation awarded by UBS to a small group of its most experienced Advisors.

A multigenerational team

You will benefit from a structured approach, which is customized for your unique situation. Here’s what you can expect:

1. Gathering client data and understanding you

In our first two meetings, we will ask you a series of open-ended questions to help us understand your family relationships, career and life goals, time horizon, tolerance for risk and income requirements. We will thoroughly examine your investments and ask about your previous planning experiences. The more information we gather, the better we can develop a strategy that’s right for you.

2. Developing your wealth management strategy

Working from our understanding of you, we will design a portfolio around your objectives with an appropriate level of risk. Our advice may also include retirement, education, estate planning, tax-management strategies, life insurance and lending solutions.

3. Implementing financial planning recommendations

We will work closely with you to implement your goals-based investments and strategies.

4. Review progress and performance

Your relationship with us should be based on accountability. We’ll meet with you regularly to review your progress and measure our results against relevant benchmarks. We’ll make every effort to keep abreast of your life changes and make tactical adjustments as needed. We’ll keep you informed about economic and financial market developments that might impact progress toward your goals.

Intelligent investing

In an ever-changing world, we are always on the lookout for opportunities in the markets. We are informed by UBS Global Research and a variety of outside publications to help us uncover new trends and investments.

We offer two portfolio structures

Most of our clients opt for a discretionary mandate in which we manage their assets and execute transactions for them. This discretion allows us to respond quickly to global events and market changes to help your portfolio stay on track.

Alternatively, we can recommend investments and assist you with your own decisions.

Beyond just stocks and bonds

Meet The Weinberger Group

Everett Weinberger, CFP®, CIMA®

Senior Vice President–Wealth Management Senior Portfolio Manager

Everett is the proud leader of The Weinberger Group and has over 25 years of experience advising clients. Prior to joining UBS in 2011, Everett worked at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management for over 10 years. Before that, he was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch, Dillon Read and Deutsche Bank. Everett is a Certified finanCial Planner™ (CFP®), a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He also has a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation, which is awarded after completing coursework and examinations at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Everett graduated from Columbia University, magna

cum laude, and received an M.B.A. from Stanford University. He is a member of The University Club and is the author of Wannabe: A Would-Be Player’s

Misadventures in Hollywood. He lives in Manhattan and enjoys movies, gardening and traveling with family and friends.

William Giordano Jr., CRPC®

Senior Wealth Strategy Associate

William specializes in client coverage, investment analysis and research. Prior to joining UBS in 2011, William worked as a Senior Investment

Associate at Merrill Lynch for seven years and at Trautman Wasserman & Co., a private equity firm. He is a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®).

William graduated from St. John’s University and received an M.B.A. from Fordham University. He is a member of the New York Athletic Club and mentors inner city students through iMentor. He lives in Manhattan and enjoys traveling and competitive squash.

Tara Carabello

Senior Client Service Associate

Tara specializes in superior client service and oversees client administration for The Weinberger Group. Tara has earned her Series 7

and 66 securities licenses.

Tara has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She joined UBS in 2011 and was previously with Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Jeremy, and enjoys knitting, traveling and playing with her dog, Frankie.

Hollanda Iwanski, CRPC®

Wealth Strategy Associate

Hollanda focuses on financial plans, portfolio reviews and client coverage. She joined our team in 2011 at Merrill Lynch and is

a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®).

Hollanda graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in finance. She is actively involved with The Stand: NYC’s Dance Marathon, which benefits Children’s Miracle Network. She lives in Manhattan and enjoys playing volleyball, exploring NYC’s diverse neighborhoods and volunteering.

PMP is not appropriate for clients who: (i) want to maintain trading control over their account; (ii) seek a short-term investment; (iii) want to maintain consistently high levels of cash, money market funds, or invest primarily in no-load mutual funds; (iv) want to maintain highly concentrated positions that will not be sold regardless of market conditions; or (v) who anticipate significant withdrawals from the account.
