Grade Level Reminders

Standardized TestingmdashAll students in grades 2-8 will continue to par-

ticipate in the Iowa Assessment standardized tests April 16-20 2018

Please do not schedule appointments for your student(s) during these

important testing days As always please make sure your student has

had a good breakfast and is well-rested in preparation for standardized

testing Thank you for your support and cooperation

Help choose next yearrsquos lunch service provider Parents please

mark your calendars The next Home and School Association meeting is

scheduled for Wednesday April 25 at 630 pm During the meeting the

general election will be held for new officer posi-

tions to include president treasurer and secretary

We will also be presenting information about

lunch service for the upcoming 2018-2019 school

year as Tommyrsquos Lunch Service contract is in its

final year A selection of lunch service compa-

nies including Tommyrsquos will be on site to present

their programs service quality pricing and to

answer questions Your input is invaluable as we

consider which lunch service provider we will

choose This is an adults-only event

Scrip Orders Due Monday April 16th Now that we are all back into the swing of

things after Easter Break itrsquos time to stock up on the gift cards for all of your spring-

time activities Need to update gear for spring season sports Use gift cards for Dickrsquos

Sporting Goods Prom dressaccessory shopping Pay with Scrip gift cards and save

toward next yearrsquos tuition Looking forward to an adult night out after spending two

OUT-OF-UNIFORM DAY TO SUPPORT THIS YEARrsquoS BULL AND OYSTER

ROAST - HASA is sponsoring another out-of-uniform day to support this yearrsquos Bull

and Oyster Roast As many families were not aware of our earlier out of uniform day

we have decided to host another one We are asking each family to donate a minimum

Middle School Information Night will take place on April 26 2018 This event for

prospective middle school students and their parents provides an opportunity for an in-

depth look at our middle school program and a chance to visit with current students and

teachers If you would like recommendation cards to share with friends family or

neighbors please contact Mrs Hilmer at chilmermsladeschoolcom

All families who have completed their Intent to Enroll for the 2018 - 2019 school

year have been sent enrollment agreements These must be completed by May

1st Current families will use their parent portal in SchoolAdmin to choose their pay-

ment schedule for next year and to pay their $200 per-family tuition deposit If you

have yet to complete your Intent to Enroll form you will receive a contract next week

in order to complete it you will have to pay both your re-registration fee and complete

your contract

We are seeking Class Agents for classes graduating between 1963 - 2005 The role of a

class agent will be to help us locate and gather contact information for our alumni If
