My Child’s Learning Meeting

This year, we are introducing My Child’s Learning Meetings. These meetings will provide an

opportunity for teachers to share what your child will be learning each half term.

As well as informing you about your child’s learning, My Child’s Learning Meetings will give you

the opportunity to meet your child’s new class teacher, hear about the class routines and

expectations for reading and homework, and about ways you can support your child’s learning at

home.

The first My Child’s Learning Meetings will take place in your child’s classroom next week as

follows. Each class will run the meeting twice to enable as many parents as possible to attend.

Monday 9 September 4.30pm – 5.15pm Year 1 and Year 2

Tuesday 10 September 4.30pm – 5.15pm Year 1 and Year 2

Wednesday 11 September 4.30pm – 5.15pm Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6

Thursday 12 September 4.30pm – 5.15pm Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6

Please come along to whichever meeting time suits you. It would be great if your child could

attend too so that they can show you their new books and routines and introduce you to their

new teacher.
