MARKET WRAP Nifty and Sensex gains marginally; up 0.2% to 0.1% this week. U.S. Unemployment claims came at 359K; Pending home sales m/m at (-) 2.6%. U.S. & Euro market were red; Asian markets too were in losses this week.Indian equity indices managed to extend the current winning streak, belyingexpectations of some softening, as FII inflows continued unabated. The Government toocarried forward its reforms agenda by announcing relief package for the debt-riddenpower sector; the rupee rose versus the US dollar to touch a five-month high, while thestock indices hit 16-month highs. Technically Nifty this week may consolidate although itis in bull run and may continue the bull run; Nifty this week may range 5530-5880.India will borrow Rs 2 lakh crore through bonds in the second half of the current fiscalyear, in line with the budget estimate this year. Government has stuck to its FY13market borrowing programme for second half of the ongoing fiscal year and ruled outadditional borrowings during the remainder of FY13. Economists are still skeptical thatthe Government will be able to meet its fiscal deficit forecast of 5.1% of GDP for FY13.Already, the Governments subsidy burden is running higher than budget estimates.U.S markets closed its best third quarter since 2010 after a wave of central bankactions sparked a dramatic reversal in equity markets, but signs of weakness in theeconomy drove stocks lower , Traders expect October to give the markets a scare,starting with news on the economy and jobs in the week ahead. Japanesemanufacturers released with the production data showed that companies expect outputto fall 2.9%inSeptember before flatteningin October. 4.
