Don’t forget to invite grandparents, and parishioners to support this event as volunteers. Each family isrequired tocomplete5carnivalvolunteerhours. Inaddition,eachfamilycompletesa totalof20volunteerhours for the year. This is anopportunity tocomplete thosehours! If friends or familyvolunteeron yourbehalf,youmaycountthosehoursforyourfamily.(Remindthemtofillinyourchild’snameinthecommentssection!) Volunteersmustbe16orolder. Wewouldratherhaveourfamiliesvolunteerandworktogether,ratherthanbillunfilledvolunteerhoursattheendoftheyear. NOW is the time to purchase your tickets. All pre-sale ride tickets are discounted...for example the cost of a Mega (4-day) wristband that allows you to ride any day, every day and ALL day is offered before the event ONLY at $60. If you were to buy a ride wristband at the door, the price would be $30 for one day. You will be getting 2 days FREE! Please see the information at the end of this newsletter regarding pre-sale tickets. St. Joseph Catholic School receives a higher percentage of the sale on all pre-sale tickets, and families receive better pricing! This is a win-win for all of us!

All Saints Day Mass

Wednesday, November 1st at 8:00 am

All students will go to church when they arrive. 4th and 5th Grade Students will be dressing as their favorite Saint and processing into Mass. Following Mass, parents are invited to attend “Breakfast with the Saints” in the Parish Center. Our Suddenly Senior group will be attending this event as well.

New Calendar on SJCS Homepage and PlusPortals

As of this weekend, all of our calendars were consolidated onto one Google calendar which appears on our school website at www.sjsfl.org This same calendar provides the links for the events listed on PlusPortals. We are hoping that one calendar visible to all parents will make it easier to track school events.

The website calendar has two views. One is a monthly calendar view and one is an agenda (list) view. By clicking on a specific event, the start and end times will appear. Parents also have an option to add the event to their personal calendars.
