Non- Banking Finance Companies (NBFCs) tell they are more competent to float a bank compared to a corporate houses As, they are already familiar with business of lending and RBI regulations.

This issue was raised when RBI is to issue new –banking license.

NBFCs have presence in semi-urban area & they are better candidates.

RBI is keen on giving new banking license to those who are willing to provide banking services in non banking area.

Blackberry May Face Ban If No Solution In 5 Days

RIM says it has no "master key" to unlock encryption codes of clients which are set at the user level and argues the issue is an industry-wide concern.

The government made it clear on 26th that Blackberry services may be banned if its maker fails to give any solution.

India's e-commerce growth to pick up with 3G: eBay

Buying and selling of products over electronic systems such as the Internet are growing manifold (as per eBay's President and CEO John Donahoe)

In India, at present, the e-commerce business is growing at 30 per cent and eBay itself is growing at 60 per cent. Ebay has about 2.5 million users in India.
