Weekly outline
This week’s work will involve looking at a fantasy story and, understand that characters in a story can go to wherever the author dreams about. You will begin by looking at the story “Whatever Next” by Jill Murphy. Please pay attention to each day’s slides as it will tell you which page to read up to. It is important, especially on the first day, that you DO NOT read the whole story.

Here is an example a postcard. Dear Mum, I’ve had an amazing journey to Mars. My rocket took me out of our chimney, before zooming off into space. Luckily, I had my space helmet so I was able to go and explore, as there is no air in space. When I got to the red, rocky planet, I saw lots of deep craters but I couldn’t see down to the bottom. Then I walked around on the planet. I bounced around, as there is less gravity on Mars than on Earth and it was fun! Unfortunately, I didn’t see any aliens, they must have been hiding at the bottom of the craters. Then I left to come home, as I was getting tired. I can’t wait for another adventure. Baby Bear
