MARKET WRAP

CHANA

Chana is expected to trade firm due to demand from local stockists and any

revival in demand would help find support for the Chana prices.

Overall acreage is expected higher due to increased MSP & better soil

moisture level. Its trend would depend on the weather & production estimates.

TURMERIC

Scarcity of quality turmeric crop available with the stockists will provide

support to the turmeric prices.

Turmeric price will depend on growth of the sown crop & demand from the

domestic and overseas buyers will decide the further trend.

JEERA

Jeera prices will also take cues from the price parity of major origins

particularly Syria and Turkey in the international market.

Jeera prices will depend on the demand from the overseas & domestic buyers

and sowing progress in the major Jeera growing areas.

PEPPER

Lower global availability and expectation of demand from the overseas buyers

in next 7-8 days will support pepper prices from falling sharply.

Prices will also take cues from the price parity of major origins in the

international market.
