“Thank You!”

2ND NOVEMBER, 2014

TRINITY XXDear God:

I want to thank you for what you have already done.

I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards. I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better, I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me,

I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears. I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves. I am going to thank you right now.

I am not going to wait until the children are asleep and the house is quiet,

I am going to thank you right now.

I am not going to wait until I get promoted at work or until I get the job,

I am going to thank you right now.

I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that

has caused me pain or grief. I am going to thank you right now.

I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed,

I am thanking you right now.

I am thanking you because I am alive.I am thanking you because I made it through the day's difficulties.

I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles.I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to

do more and do better.

I am thanking you because, Father, you have not given up on me.

God is good, all the time; and all the time, God is Good!

THANK HIM!

COLLECT FOR ADVENT IIBlessed Lord, Who caused all Holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: write in our hearts the lessons of Your Law; prepare our minds to receive the Gospel, help us to hear them, to read, mark, learn and inwardly digest them that through patience and the comfort of Your Holy Word, we may embrace and for ever hold fast the hope of everlasting life, which You have given us in our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

COLLECT FOR ADVENT SUNDAY Almighty God, give us grace to cast away the works of darkness and to put on the armour of light, now in the time of this mortal life, in which Your Son Jesus Christ came to us in great humility so that on the last day, when He shall come again in His glorious majesty; to judge the living and the dead, we may rise to the life immortal: through Him who is alive and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God now and forever. Amen.

A lady goes to see her priest one day and tells him, “Father, I have a problem. I have two female parrots, but they only know how to say one thing.” “What do they say?” the priest inquired. “They say, 'Hi, we're hookers! Do you want to have some fun?' Isn't that awful?” the woman laments. “That's obscene!” the priest exclaimed. Then he thought for a moment. “You know,” he said, “I may have a solution to your problem. I have two male parrots who talk, and I have taught them to pray and read the Bible. Bring your two parrots over to my house, and we'll put them in the cage with Francis and Job. My parrots can teach your parrots to praise and worship God, and your parrots are sure to stop saying... that... that indecent phrase...in no time.” “Thank you,” the woman responded, “this may very well be the solution!” The next day, the woman brought her female parrots to the priest's house. As he ushered the woman in, she saw that his two male parrots, Francis and Job, were inside their cage, holding rosary beads and actually praying, their pious little faces upturned toward heaven with beaks moving slightly as they prayed intently to the Lord. Very impressed, the woman walked over and placed her parrots inside the cage with these very devout parrots. After a few minutes, sure enough, the female parrots cried out in unison: “Hi, we're hookers! Do you want to have some fun?” A long moment of silence ensued. Shocked, one male parrot looked over at the other male parrot and exclaimed, “Put the beads away, Frank. Our prayers have been answered!”

GENERAL NOTICES

EXHORTATION FOR THE YEAR 2014Exhortation: “NEW BEGINNING”Response: “BEHOLD OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY.” 1. Greetings(a) Brethren, we welcome you into this Sanctuary today. We give thanks to God for His mercies on us in the past. As we come to meet the Lord in the year 2014, let us rededicate our lives anew to Jesus Christ. Each time we enter this sanctuary, give thanks to Him, invite His presence, pray to Him for revival from sin to righteousness. Let us pray that our coming will attract divine intervention in our lives. Jesus has said, “Ask, and it will be given you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. (Matt. 7:7&8).” Have confidence in the promise of our Lord Jesus that if we ask for bread we shall not be given a stone or when you ask for a fish, you will not be given a serpent (Mt. 7:9). Trust the Lord for His goodness and mercy, come to Him with a clean heart and be sure IT IS WELL. Constantly pray the prayer of Jabez (see 1 Chronicles 4:9-10). God will bless you this year, He will enlarge your border, His hand will keep you from harm. Amen.

b. We welcome and we greet all visitors and friends and all members of our Congregation today, Sunday 7th December, 2014. We pray that God will make this week a week of joy, success, breakthroughs, prosperity, protection, achievement, good health, grace, and direction of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name. Please kindly see the stewards or clergy for the membership form.2. Theme For The Year 2014

5. Leave Legacy: You can leave landed property, buildings, share certificates for the church in your will. It is a life long memorial. May God grant us all many fruitful years here on earth. Amen. Matt. 6:19-21.6. Church Needs: (i) 1 window A/C (ii) 1 Three Tons A/C Unit

NEW BEGINNING (Isaiah 43:19)“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”3. GOD'S ASSURANCE FOR THE YEAR 2014 “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19) 4. PROPHETIC/MEMORY VERSE FOR DECEMBER (Isaiah 60: 11-12) “Your gates shall always be open; day and night they shall not be shut; so that nations shall bring you their wealth, with their kings led in procession. For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste.”

PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR THE MONTHTWELVE was a significant number in the history of the chosen people of God Israel. The Twelveth month ends the calendar every year; As you step into the last month of the year 2014, God’s favour, grace, strength, power, provision, mercy, protection and abundant blessings for you and the rest of your family members will never end. Heavens will open in your favour, people and nations shall locate you and bless you with their wealth. Your TWELVE peculiar blessings shall be released unto you. The LORD is your light, you will not be overcome by any power of darkness. God Almighty who protected you from the month of January to November will not forsake you in this last leg . God will crown all your efforts with success. You will finish strong, you will not be weary. Your joy will multiply. God will increase you, you will not be stagnant. Neither you nor any of your loved ones will go down with this month or this year, you will end the year well and in joy and felicity shall you be. Anyone who plans evil against you or your people shall have the host of heaven to contend with. You shall testify to God’s goodness. You are a WINNER!

of the race to end this year
